Evaluation Question 7:

Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?


I think it's a really clear difference in the amount that I have learnt in the space of time between my preliminary task, and my final product. In my preliminary task, I couldn't get my head around Photoshop and using the Mac's and I didn't think I'd get anywhere. However, with pure determination and motivation, I went from something that looked like this:




To something that looks like this:


 
 




Comparing both magazines, I feel more confident that my Uprising front cover, contents page, and double page spread look more official, whereas my "King's Sport" magazine pages looked quite rushed, and there wasn't much colour or variation in the font and the size. Also, the contents page doesn't connote sport, which was what I was trying to put across, whereas my Uprising contents page does so. I am really proud with the outcome of my final pieces, especially the double page spread, as it was the one I struggled with the most.
